Aviation Photography
Having spent many years crewing airworthy historic aircraft based at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, Alan has an understanding and appreciation of the subject that adds considerably to his photographic prowess in the field.
With experience in both 'air to air' and 'ground to air' photography, his passion for aviation is conveyed in his work and results in images which represent far more than technical studies.
Commercial / Event Photography
The use of the latest digital imaging technology affords Alan the flexibility to adopt a highly creative approach toward commercial and web photography. All digital manipulation is carried out 'in house', allowing the photographer to work to a concept, collect the photographic ingredients required for the image and to incorporate and blend them seamlessly into the perfect end result.
This, coupled with an in-depth understanding of the use of light in the field of performance and exhibition, makes for a powerful combination when capturing the highlights of any event.

Having travelled extensively across Europe, the far East and the United States, Alan has had the pleasure of capturing both the beauty of nature and man-made wonders across the globe.

Our qualified resident make-up artists have the ability to produce an almost unlimited range of styles & looks.
The shoot illustrated covered contemporary portraiture, clubwear & lingerie, followed by a retro
make-over into a vintage burlesque 'femme fatale'.
The studio's extensive selection of backgrounds/props & the use of digital technology allow Alan to produce a varied mini-folio in a single shoot, adding diversity to the client's photographic collection.
A makeover shoot is a great way to express yourself and It's fun!.
Studio

Alan's comfortable Glasgow city centre facility, located in Sauchiehall Street, is also available for hire to models, agencies, photographers & camera clubs etc.
The premises are equipped with Bowens Gemini GM500 studio flash units, soft boxes, barn doors, parabolic,
brollies, Lastolite 'Tri-flector' & reflectors, Manfrotto tri-pod, & over a dozen paper, vinyl and painted cloth backgrounds, affording the ability to create varied and bespoke images on request.
A dedicated make-up and changing room with 2 work-stations, clothes rails etc is available for use.
In addition, a well appointed preview/relaxation lounge with LCD projection equipment, hi-fi, tea & coffee
making facilities, provides a relaxing ambience in which to set the tone for a shoot.
Resident models & make-up artists are available upon request.

Gift vouchers are available in any value from £20 upwards, & may be used as part or full payment against a single sitting or series of shoots within 12 months of the date of purchase.

Prices
As every shoot is specifically tailored to suit the particular requirements of each individual client, a consultation will be arranged prior to the shoot to determine the exact scope of the sitting & all costs will be quoted & agreed at this point.
