plantlife

Horticulture & the world of plants & flowers is something I have very little  knowledge of or any particular interest in, but even to a layman such as myself, the beautiful array of plant species in Scotlands many spectacular gardens are a sight to be admired, appreciated & captured on camera.

National Trust for Scotland Gardens such as those found at Arduane & Crarae on the West coast of the country provide a photographic field day, for anyone with an eye for colour & texture & even my obvious lack of knowledge on the subject matter doesn't detract from the pleasure of capturing images of these delightful places.

This gallery is simply an expression of yet another beautiful aspect of the country in which I am fortunate to live, and for those of you with a greater appreciation of flowers and plants, I hope that you enjoy this gallery.
